5th Forum of Inorganic Chemistry

The Lewiński Group takes an important part in the organisation of the 5th Forum of Inorganic Chemistry (5. Forum Chemii Nieorganicznej), which will take place 20-22 March 2025 at the Warsaw University of Technology.

The Forum is organised jointly by the Faculty of Chemistry of the Warsaw University of Technology, the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Polish Chemical Society. The conference is addressed to both experienced researchers and early-career researchers including PhD students and undergraduate students. The aim of the meeting is to present the latest results in the area of inorganic, coordination, organometallic, bioinorganic, nano, and materials chemistry. The program will include a session dedicated to Prof. Stanisław Pasynkiewicz – the founder of Polish organometallic chemistry.

Previous editions of the Forum were held in the Polish cities of Kraków, Wrocław and Toruń. The idea was initiated at the Faculties of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University, and the University of Wrocław, as well as the Faculty of Ceramics and Materials Engineering of the AGH University of Science and Technology on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Prof. Adam Bielański. The Forum continues the tradition of Colloquia on Inorganic Chemistry organised back in the 20th century by Prof. Bogusława Jeżowska-Trzebiatowska and Prof. Adam Bielański.
