We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our colleague, Dr. Iwona Justyniak.
Iwona was an experienced specialist in group 13 organometallic chemistry and in the crystallography of metal-organic complexes. Over the course of her career, she co-authored approximately 120 peer-reviewed scientific papers and led several National Science Centre projects. Above all, Iwona was the heart of our group for almost 30 years, organising the life of the team and nurturing generations of younger researchers.
The funeral mass will take place on 6 August 2026 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Józefów.
She will be deeply missed.
