Professor Stanisław Pasynkiewicz has passed away 15 November 2021 at the age of 91.
For many years, he researched and taught at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Warsaw University of Technology. Between 1973 and 1981 was the rector of the University.
Professor Pasynkiewicz was a pioneer of the research on organometallic compounds in Poland. He was particularly interested in the applications of organometallic compounds in catalysis. His work was highly valued by the international scientific community. He was also a mentor to many excellent Polish chemists.
