Thesis Title: Diffusion NMR Spectroscopy – implementation and optimization of a method on a Varian 500 MHz System.

Major skills

  • Operational knowledge of Varian and Bruker NMR spectrometers (liquid- and solid-state)
  • Troubleshooting of typical software and hardware problems in the above-mentioned systems
  • Knowledge of the syntax used in NMR pulse sequences programming
  • Handling of Transmission Electron Microscope
  • TEM image interpretation
  • Training in air-free laboratory techniques (Schlenk line, glovebox)
  • Excellent knowledge of \LaTeX\ document preparation system
  • Proficiency in UNIX-based operation systems
  • Working knowledge of C++ and Perl programming languages

  • Mechanochemistry and solid-state chemistry for new materials synthesis.
